Scripture tells us “God is love” (1 John 4:8). Out of His heart of love, God gives…
abundantly, lavishly, generously, and joyfully! God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7) because God IS a cheerful giver! We are never more like God than when we give.
Generous giving changes us from the inside out. As we return back to God a portion of what He has entrusted to us, we are exercising faith and exhibiting gratitude. The Bible teaches us that the 'tithe” (10% of our income) is the starting place in this transforming grace.
